Printable 3D models of real places from map data
Turning map data into an object you can print is mostly a fight with geometry. I build generators that take OpenStreetMap and elevation tiles and return watertight models with buildings, roads, water and terrain that a 3D printer accepts.
Discuss a project →What you get
- Buildings, roads, water and parks from OpenStreetMap on real terrain
- Automatic checks for broken topology, floating buildings and thin parts
- STL or 3MF export, sliced into layers without manual repair
- A generator you can run for any place, not a one-off model
